Who you are ordering from
3D Printing Manchester is a trading brand of Kendall Group Ltd, company number 15554380. Contact [email protected] about an enquiry or order and include the relevant reference.
Orders are supplied by delivery. Workshop collection and customer visits are not available.
An enquiry, a quote and an order
Adding contact details, uploading a model or viewing an on-screen price starts or develops an enquiry. These actions do not pay for a print order.
Before accepting the official quote, check the model revision, selected parts, quantity, material, finish, delivery information and total, including applicable tax and delivery charges. Follow the acceptance and payment steps shown with that quote. Keep the official quote, invoice and order correspondence as the record of the agreed job.
Printing follows confirmed payment and the agreed production arrangements. If the payment or order status is unclear, contact us with the reference before trying again.
The model and the intended use
Provide the file you intend to use and check its units, dimensions and preview. Make the required quantity of each part clear, especially where a file contains several selectable parts. Our upload guidance explains the accepted formats and size limit; the small-batch guide helps organise revisions and quantities.
Tell us about important fits, visible faces, loads, movement, heat, moisture or other requirements before ordering. A successful upload, a rendered preview or a calculated price does not establish that a part is suitable for every application. Requirements for documented performance, certification or a particular standard need to be raised and agreed for the actual job.
Only supply models and supporting material that you have the right to use and authorise us to process for your enquiry and order. You retain your existing rights in the material you supply. We need permission to use it to assess, quote and perform the requested work; this does not authorise publication as a customer project.
Process, finish and CAD work
FDM and resin are different processes. Layer structure, support contact and other process features can affect appearance. Agree any essential surface or dimensional requirement in the specification; a generic material-family description is not a guarantee for an individual part.
If geometry needs creating or changing, use the CAD design enquiry. The design scope, deliverables and revision arrangements are agreed separately from print pricing. A drawing, photo or example illustration is not automatically a complete manufacturing specification.
Changes, timing and delivery
Contact us promptly if you need to change the model, quantity or other agreed details. A change can affect the price and timetable; confirm the revised arrangements before treating a changed file as the new order specification.
Printing operates seven days a week. The 48-hour offer refers to dispatch, not arrival. Eligibility, the start point and the schedule must be confirmed for the particular job before you rely on that timing. Seven-day printing does not itself promise a particular carrier’s collection or delivery schedule. See Turnaround and delivery.
Check the delivery address and selected service before accepting the order. If delivery is delayed, damaged or missing, contact us so we can investigate and explain the available next steps.
Cancellation and problems with an order
Tell us as soon as possible if you want to cancel or change an order. We will explain what stage the job has reached and the options that apply.
For goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, the usual distance-selling right to cancel solely because you have changed your mind generally does not apply. That exception does not remove your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or otherwise fail to meet the legal requirements. Not every item or service automatically falls within the custom-goods exception.
Where a cancellation right applies, it will be explained with the relevant order information. CAD work is a separate service: any request to begin during a statutory cancellation period, and its effect on cancellation rights, must be agreed through the service-order process. Merely asking for a quote does not waive those rights.
If there is a problem, email the order reference, a description and photographs where helpful. Keep the item and packaging while the next step is agreed. Please obtain the appropriate return instructions before sending anything to a workshop; there is no public collection or drop-off service.
Nothing in this information removes your statutory consumer rights or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. GOV.UK explains consumer returns and refunds.
Information and confidential work
Our privacy notice explains enquiry, file and order information. Confidential customer projects are kept out of our public examples. Website illustrations and hypothetical design studies do not represent an agreed design, measured print result or customer order.
